[Update] Mandatory Invoice Requirements for Shipments to the EU
Dear customer,
The European Union (EU) is strengthening security at customs through their information system “Import Control System 2 (ICS2)”.
Effective immediately, all goods shipped to or transiting through the EU(1), Northern Ireland, Norway and Switzerland should follow the below invoice requirements:
- An 8-digit HS code needs to be included on the invoice for each item.
- Invoices need to include the recipient’s EORI number.
- Ensure the Tax and Duty terms on the invoice are aligned with Royale’s House Airway Bill.
